Litex Membrane Board
Litex Membrane board is a water – and vapour proof membrane board designed for use in bathrooms and wetrooms, providing an ideal substrate for tile installation
The board functions as both a water and vapor barrier and does not require any liquid‑applied membrane, allowing you to save time and reduce labor. It is approved for use on both walls and floors, and can also be used for built‑ins and structural elements. Joints and penetrations are sealed using Litex accessory products to ensure a continuous, waterproof system.
Product features
A 13 mm Litex Membranplate weighs only 1.8 kilograms, making transport, handling, and installation exceptionally easy.
Litex Membranplater are extremely water‑ and vapor‑proof and function as a full vapor barrier. The vapor tightness is 7800 sd‑meters, which is 780 times tighter than the minimum requirement in Norway.
The boards can be installed on all common substrates and offer both high strength and flexibility. They are approved for use on walls and floors, and are perfectly suited for built‑ins and structural constructions.
Joints and penetrations are sealed using Litex accessory products to ensure a continuous, watertight system.
